Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies as well as Local, State and Federal guidelines, for all leave types at all times, to ensure compliance and minimize risk; escalates cases to higher level for guidance and resolution. Updates and maintains the HR Systems of Record with all information pertaining to an employee’s leave; includes, but is not limited to, updating the employee’s record to stop/start/reduce pay in compliance with leave policy approval/denial, updating the employee’s attendance record, and documenting all activity into case management tool. Provides timely, accurate and detailed leave of absence policy, job protection, and leave approval/denial communications to employees and their managers/HR business partners by initiating required correspondence and notifications within AbsentSoft; provides supporting research and documentation for situations that require escalation. Utilizes data and reporting from case management tools used by US Leave Management to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and/or exceeded; communicates effectively with Tier 1 Customer Service Representative to ensure customer service SLAs are met and/or exceeded.
