Job DescriptionBrief Description / Overall Purpose of Position:The Associate Director / Business Unit Head of Oncology provides overall business direction and leadership for the Oncology franchise in Indonesia. The role is accountable for franchise strategy, P&L delivery, portfolio growth, resource allocation, commercial execution, and people leadership. The role is enhanced to cover both Private Oncology business and Public Oncology Opportunity, ensuring business growth is pursued through strong cross-functional partnership with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial Operations.(The role is expected to build a future-ready Oncology franchise while developing leadership agility that can be transferable to other therapeutic areas and future Organisation pipeline opportunities)Business ScopePrivate Oncology business and expanded Public Oncology OpportunityKey Roles & Responsibilities:A. Lead Oncology Franchise Strategy and P&LOwn Oncology business strategy, annual operating plan, forecast, and delivery of committed business targets.Drive Oncology franchise growth across private and public market opportunities.Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, competitor activity, and patient access barriers to identify sustainable growth opportunities.Make resource allocation recommendations to optimize impact, ROI, and business sustainability.Ensure Oncology strategy is aligned with Indonesia business priorities and relevant regional/global franchise direction.B. Expand Public Oncology Opportunity as Part of M2 Business ScopeIdentify and prioritize public sector Oncology business opportunities in partnership with Market Access and enabling functions.Build the business case for public opportunity development, including commercial potential, patient impact, resource needs, and execution requirements.Integrate public opportunity plans into Oncology franchise planning and business review cadence.Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Finance, Regulatory, and Commercial Operations to enable access, reimbursement, formulary, and institutional pathways.Maintain clear role boundaries: BU Head owns business prioritization and commercial outcomes; Market Access owns technical access strategy and execution.C. Drive Commercial Execution and Field ExcellenceTranslate Oncology strategy into actionable marketing, customer engagement, and field implementation plans.Ensure alignment of salesforce and marketing activities with brand, portfolio, and customer strategy.Monitor implementation effectiveness and adjust plans based on market feedback, performance indicators, and customer insights.Drive disciplined business reviews and ensure follow-through on key actions and commitments.Ensure all commercial activities are conducted with high standards of ethics, compliance, and company policy.D. Lead Cross-Functional Oncology GovernanceOrchestrate cross-functional collaboration across Market Access, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial Operations, and regional/global stakeholders.Facilitate alignment on key decisions, milestones, risks, and trade-offs for private and public Oncology opportunities.Escalate business-critical barriers and support rapid, disciplined decision-making.Create clear RACI and governance discipline between Oncology BU and enabling functions.E. Build Talent, Capability, and Franchise ResilienceLead, coach, and develop Oncology team members to deliver strong performance and sustainable engagement.Build team capability in strategic account planning, public market understanding, customer engagement, access awareness, and execution excellence.Conduct regular performance, development, and succession discussions.Create a learning culture that supports adaptability, feedback, experimentation, and resilience.Develop future-ready talent who can support Oncology growth and broader company pipeline opportunities.F.
