The role reports to Market Access Lead in based in Finland.Please apply before 14th September.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute market access strategies aligned with Finnish HTA, pricing, reimbursement, procurement, and funding pathways.Lead preparation of HTA, reimbursement, pricing, and access submissions.Lead the adaptation of health economic models and budget impact analyses for the Finnish context.Contribute access input across the product lifecycle, including pipeline planning, portfolio prioritization, launch preparation, post-launch optimization, tender planning, and late lifecycle or loss-of-exclusivity considerations.Contribute to internal market access capability building by sharing knowledge, best practices, tools, and learnings with colleagues.Lead or support local evidence generation activities aligned with Finnish payer, HTA, procurement, and healthcare decision-maker needs.Support engagement with national and regional stakeholders, hospitals, payers, procurement bodies, and other relevant healthcare system actors where appropriate.QualificationsRequiredAcademic degree in pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, public health, health economics, epidemiology, statistics, business, or another relevant field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceuticals, market access, health economics, HTA, pricing, reimbursement, tendering, consulting, or a related area.Experience in developing or contributing to HTA submissions, reimbursement dossiers, including conditional reimbursement processes and related agreement structures, pricing cases, tenders, and health economic analyses.Understanding of Finnish healthcare decision-making, HTA, pricing and reimbursement pathways, hospital procurement, tendering, and funding mechanisms.Ability to translate complex clinical, economic, technical, and policy information into clear arguments.Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong business acumen and understanding of access, affordability, and value.High ethical standards and a strong compliance mindset.Fluent in Finnish and English, written and spoken.PreferredAdvanced degree or additional training in outcomes research, public health, health economics, statistics is considered an advantage.Required Skills: Go-to-Market Strategies, Health Economics, Life Cycle Planning, Market Access, Market Analysis, Market Entry, Scenario Planning, Strategic ThinkingPreferred Skills: Current Employees apply HERECurrent Contingent Workers apply HERESearch Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA, also known as Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA, does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities. Required Qualifications
