This position requires a strong foundation in culinary techniques, with an emphasis on refined presentation, flavor balance, and consistency. The Cook II works closely with the culinary team to deliver a premium dining experience tailored to our guests, ensuring all food meets the highest standards of quality and timing.THE STARTING RATE: $19.26 an hourTHE DAY-TO-DAY:Prepares meals and other food items according to assignment by the Specialty Sous Chef or Restaurant Chef at assigned Salad/Pantry, Appetizer, or Add-On fine dining stations in accordance with fine dining standards and guest requests. Works in an ala carte setting with the ability to monitor and control ticket flow and continuity of service.Monitors customer flow and estimates daily food requirements and supplies, and requisitions items needed on a daily basis through the Specialty Sous Chef.Uses recipes and a variety of kitchen equipment to sauté, bake, boil, blanch, braise, fry, sear, and steam food to prepare and reheat soups, salads, sauces, dressings, and other food items.
