The Senior Data Scientist is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned data science professional to contribute to these personalization initiatives. This hands-on individual contributor role will develop and evolve AI/ML models and their orchestration to drive customer engagement and business value. The position is part of the Commercial Data Science team within MGM's Marketing organization and collaborates closely with Commercial Strategy, Customer Engagement, Loyalty, Creative, Product, and Engineering teams. The role is responsible for end-to-end data science contributions, including data munging and normalization, feature engineering, modeling, hyper-parameter tuning, deployment, experimental design, test execution, and measurement.THE DAY-TO-DAY:Independently contribute to multiple complex Data Science projects with minimal supervisionPerform hands-on tasks of a seasoned SME of AI/ML model development and implementationMake significant enhancement to the personalization and commercial strategies by adding Data Science and analytic modelsDevelops predictive and statistical models. Hyper-parameter-tunes, scales, and deploys models. Orchestrates next best actions, maintains Data Science CI/CD framework, and improves decisionsupport systems. Executes processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performancePeer-reviews code, writes unit tests, and provides feedback on data pipeline and modeling approachesCollaborates with other data scientist and recognized subject matter experts in developing and deploying modelsCollaborates with analysts and engineers to specify data requirements.
