We have the opportunity to bring in a high-energy, tenacious, and ambitious individual with a strong work ethic and integrity to join the team.As an HVAC Operations Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the operation of mechanical and HVAC systems. Systems include but are not limited to chiller plant, compressed air, heating water, cooling water, process exhaust, cleanroom HVAC, and general building HVAC. This covers turning equipment on and off so maintenance can be performed. This position will work closely with trades maintenance technicians to ensure systems are accurately maintained.ResponsibilitiesPerform various rounds and readingsSystem and alarm monitoringAlarm and failure responseWorking with ERT as first respondersFollow all safety procedures, LOTO, and NFPA 70E standardsAble to understand P&ID drawings, one-line diagrams, and the ability to troubleshoot faults and alarmsProvide timely and detailed preventative maintenance on highly technical facilities equipmentProvide effective and proficient responses to restore equipment to service as soon as possible, in the event of a system failureIdentify and respond according to alarm conditionsProvide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issuesIdentify and reduce equipment defects to improve quality and maximize system stabilityMaintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipmentQualifications8+ years of industry or related field experience and/or equivalent experience and/or military training/experienceAble to work 12 hours shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off), and rotate from days to nights every 4 months or 5 day work week.Micron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
