Are you ready to meet the challenge?Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Collaborate with partners to drive future tool and process roadmaps, and calculate network capacity impacts of process changesComplete financial analyses before new capital equipment is purchased including metrics optimization, process flexibility, capacity sharing and equipment repurposeHandle site tool utilization and capacity planning models to optimize the site’s deployed capitalApply new Python, SQL, R and traditional Excel, VBA methods to model and automate tasks in the planning system/modelsDesign, track, and communicate capital change proposals through formal presentations to manufacturing senior leaders utilizing Power BI and TableauOptimize capacity of equipment base and lead site- and tool-level optimization studies for efficiency improvementBuild and implement tools to audit manufacturing capital efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunitiesLead and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions in manufacturingMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering2-4 years demonstrated semiconductor capacity planning and capital equipment planning requiredMinimum 2 years proficient experience using Python and SQL to craft and develop visualization and web-based reporting metrics, and influence data driven insights in a manufacturing environmentSemiconductor manufacturing Industrial Engineering experiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in manufacturing fieldExperience turning sophisticated and ambiguous problem statements into structured solutions while working in a highly multi-functional environmentProven ability to successfully analyze and interpret data, drawing conclusions, recommending actions, and reporting results across diverse technical and non-technical groupsDemonstrated ability to operate independently while maintaining a high degree of organization and control and establishing successful working relationships with cross-functional teamsExperience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processesAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
