Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.As a Fab Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working with a team of other process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. This position will identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new process baseline qualifications and managing, auditing and liaising with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.Responsibilities and Tasks:Establish and improve process conditions, technology, and AI-driven process optimization methodologies.Upgrade process capability, leverage AI and advanced analytics to improve yield, and reduce production costs.Establish, modify, and manage process improvement projects, including AI-enabled automation initiatives.Set up, monitor, and optimize process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment using data-driven and AI-assisted techniques.Evaluate, promote, and plan new equipment, materials, AI applications, and digital manufacturing solutions.Perform abnormality analysis, root cause investigation, predictive analytics, and continuous process improvement using AI tools and machine learning insights.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or a related technical field.Experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions using statistical methods and software such as JMP, MATLAB, Excel, or SPC tools.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical processes or equipment issues.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams in a manufacturing environment.Ability to work a compressed 12-hour shift schedule and perform duties while wearing cleanroom attire.Preferred QualificationsCoursework, internship, project, or work experience involving semiconductor manufacturing, process development, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, or process optimization.Basic programming or scripting experience (Python, SQL, MATLAB, or similar).Experience working with technical equipment, laboratory tools, or manufacturing processes.Exposure to AI, machine learning, automation, or data analytics tools used to improve problem solving, decision-making, or process efficiency. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or a related technical field. (degree in engineering)
