Your role plays a key part in maintaining and improving the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of our global facilities systems.Offer Technical Support, Direction, and ExpertiseProvide consultation and assistance to Global, Regional, and Site Facilities and Manufacturing teams as the Technical Subject Matter Expert.Collaborate with internal partners, including Global Facilities, Site Facilities, Global Env Sustainability, SMAI, IT, TD, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams.Analyze system builds to identify improvements for performance, efficiency, and cost savings.Support sites with problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies.Benchmark internally and externally on Engineering Proven Approaches for Facilities buildings and systems.Maintain technical knowledge on industry standards, guidelines, trends, and technological advances in your subject area.Provide Build and Construction Project Support, Leadership, and ExpertiseSupport global, regional, and site-level Construction project teams in developing new large-scale Facilities Infrastructure Expansion projects.Develop and maintain Micron’s global Design and Construction Standards and Specifications.Build system design concepts for Control System Architecture, P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, and Functional Descriptions.Ensure project scopes meet customer needs and maintain communication with collaborators.Review build packages for compliance with standards, codes, and regulations.Monitor progress and support project cost and schedule estimates.Supervise and coordinate Consultant resources.Validate capacity planning databases and system operating trends.Lead capacity and scenario planning evaluations.Offer assistance, direction, and proficiency in Global Initiatives ProgramsDevelop and maintain O&M BKM focusing on Operations and Maintenance Reliability and Performance.Lead and define Global Facilities Programs & Initiatives, setting objectives and implementation plans.Drive the Global Facilities Digitalization and SMART Facilities Programs in line with the goals of the company.Champion Global Facilities Sustainability Programs to support corporate sustainability initiatives.Collect and integrate Lessons Learned from global teams into Micron Global Standards and BKMs.AI ResponsibilitiesLeverage AI-enabled tools and digital solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in construction engineering and governanceIdentify and implement AI-driven process improvements within construction standards, planning, and executionPromote responsible and effective use of AI technologies aligned with organizational policies and legal requirementsJob Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering requiredMinimum 7 to 10-years experience in Semiconductor and/or Facilities related industryTechnical expertise, knowledge, and experience on Facilities and Semiconductor Instrumentation and Controls systems, including I&C, FMCS, SCADA, Life Safety Systems, Toxic Gas Monitoring, Telecom, and Security systems, as well as the Controls interfaces with other Facilities Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Building systemsAbility to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrentlyGood organizational skills and Service demeanorExcellent interpersonal skills and good team working skills, English RequiredSelf-motivated workerFamiliarity with Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systemsAbility to travel internationally 15-25% of the time on average, but up to 30% of the time during Critical Project phases or Site ActivitiesAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
