Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.As an ENGINEER, NAND SILICON DESIGN VALIDATION at Micron, you will be part of an ambitious group committed to developing and validating top-tier NAND Flash memory products. This position is distinct since it covers both pre-silicon concept development and practical post-silicon validation. You will acquire a full understanding of the product lifecycle. You will work on modern technologies, conduct simulations, and compose detailed validation documentation. Your role will be key in identifying and resolving design-related problems to secure outstanding product performance.Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating with R&D teams, designers, and various engineering departments to troubleshoot and validate device testing programs. You will be the key point of contact for critical product-specific issues, ensuring a seamless interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Business Units, and Quality Assurance departments.Responsibilities:Develop, validate, and qualify new innovative NAND Flash memory productsDefine and validate product configuration parametersApply CAD tools and Verilog simulations for build verification and in-depth circuit analysisIdentify build marginalities and recommend circuit-related fixesPerform electrical failure analysis to determine root causes of device issuesUse engineering benches and testers for device characterization and failure analysisSupport preparation of engineering samplesIntegrate AI-assisted tools into daily work to improve efficiency and qualityContribute to continuous improvement by sharing AI-enabled enhancementsMinimum Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s/ Masters/ PhD degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering is required.Required SkillsKnowledge in semiconductor device physics and circuit buildingHands-on experience with Verilog and Cadence toolsFamiliarity with AI/ML efficiency tools to support engineering workflowsProficiency in data analysis tools like JMP and PythonExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills for cross-functional collaborationAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail with a dedication to quality and continuous improvementTeam-oriented and adaptable in dynamic environments with stringent qualification requirementsBaseline digital proficiency and AI literacy for responsible use of AI-enabled toolsAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
