Our team collaborates closely with engineering, operations, and construction partners to integrate safety into every stage of our work while driving continuous improvement and regulatory excellence.As an Safety Engineer, you will help protect people, property, and operations through proactive risk management, safety program development, and regulatory compliance. This role offers the opportunity to influence complex construction and industrial projects, leverage technology and AI-enabled solutions to improve safety outcomes, and contribute to a culture where safety is a core value.Responsibilities:Conduct hazard assessments, risk analyses, and safety reviews to support construction and industrial operationsDevelop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs, procedures, and training to enhance worker safety and regulatory compliancePerform safety audits, incident investigations, compliance inspections, and emergency response activities, including participation in an on-call rotationPartner with project teams and contractors to integrate safety-by-design principles and ensure effective execution of site safety requirementsUtilize AI-enabled tools, workflows, and data analysis techniques to improve EHS processes, identify trends, and support proactive risk reductionMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline3+ years of professional experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or a related EHS fieldKnowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigationsStrong communication, organizational, and computer skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teamsAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support emergency response activities as neededPreferred Qualifications:Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certificationExperience leading small to medium-sized projects and cross-functional teamsExperience supporting large-scale construction or industrial operationsExperience developing AI-enabled workflows, automation solutions, or data-driven safety improvement programsExperience using AI tools to analyze safety performance data and identify potential risks and improvement opportunitiesAbout MicronAs the leader in innovative memory solutions, Micron is helping the world make sense of data by delivering technology that is transforming how the world uses information. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (degree in higher in occupational safety)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or a related EHS field (experience, 3 years)
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations (experience)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams (experience)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support emergency response activities as needed (experience)

Preferred Qualifications
