This role acts as the "Eyes and Ears" of Facilities Operations, ensuring uninterrupted operation of plant utilities and supporting rapid response to abnormal events.The position combines Control Room Operations and Field Technician Activities to ensure timely alarm response, equipment reliability, safety compliance, and continuous plant operation.Person should have proficiency in using Gen AI Tools, Copilot, Copilot library & Agent bots.Key Responsibilities1. FMCS / BMS / SCADA MonitoringMonitor all facility systems continuously through FMCS, BMS, and SCADA platforms.Track operational status, equipment health, trends, and performance parameters.Monitor utility systems including:Electrical Distribution SystemsHVAC & Cleanroom SystemsChillers & Cooling TowersCDA (Compressed Dry Air) SystemsUPW (Ultra Pure Water) SystemsRO/DI Water SystemsIndustrial Water SystemsWastewater Treatment & ZLD SystemsFire Detection & Life Safety SystemsGas Detection SystemsExhaust & Scrubber SystemsEnvironmental Monitoring Systems2. Alarm Management & ResponseMonitor, acknowledge, classify, and respond to alarms 24/7.Analyze alarm priority levels:CriticalMajorMinorAdvisoryEscalate alarms according to escalation matrix and SOPs.Notify duty engineers and responsible technicians during abnormal conditions.Ensure alarm closure after verification and restoration3. Field Verification & TroubleshootingPerform field inspections to verify alarms and abnormal equipment conditions.Conduct first-level troubleshooting of utility systems.Support equipment restart and restoration activities.Coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns.Assist in corrective and preventive maintenance activities.4. Event Logging & DocumentationMaintain accurate operational logs and event records.Record:Equipment tripsUtility interruptionsAlarm historyMaintenance activitiesEmergency eventsPrepare shift reports and daily operation summaries.Maintain documentation for audits and operational reviews.5.
