You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and IT) to design and implement robust, scalable data solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end Material Master lifecycle (creation, maintenance, governance, and retirement) across SAP and integrated systemsEnsure adherence to data governance policies, standards, and audit controls within the Material domainMonitor, analyze, and drive improvements in data quality KPIs (accuracy, completeness, consistency)Identify and lead transformation opportunities (automation, standardization, simplification), and drive them through design, build, and deploymentPartner with IT and business teams to define requirements and deliver scalable master data solutions (S/4HANA, Informatica, integrations)Conduct root cause analysis on data issues, and implement sustainable fixes (not just corrections)Document and optimize business processes, workflows, and controls to improve efficiency and reduce cycle timeSupport audit readiness and compliance, ensuring strong control frameworks in material data processesEnable downstream processes such as BOM, MRP, planning, procurement, and manufacturing execution through high-quality material dataExperience5–7 years of experience in Enterprise Master Data, primarily within the Material domain (preferred)Experience supporting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, or Engineering processesExposure to S/4HANA migration or transformation programs is a strong advantageTools & SkillsSAP MM (Material Master) – strong functional expertise (views, lifecycle, dependencies)Informatica (IDMC / Product 360) – experience in MDM platforms and data governance workflowsPLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter or equivalent) – integration with engineering dataAdvanced Excel / Data Analysis – data validation, reporting, and insightsBusiness Process Management – process design, documentation, and optimizationRequirements Gathering & Solution Design – translating business needs into scalable solutionsStrong analytical thinking with focus on data quality, controls, and continuous improvementAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
