As a Lead, PCVD Equipment, you will lead a team of equipment engineers responsible for improving manufacturing capability through equipment performance, yield improvement, throughput optimization, and quality excellence. You will set strategic direction, develop team capabilities, and collaborate with manufacturing, facilities, technology development, and global partners to achieve business objectives. This is a great opportunity to influence fab performance at scale while building a high-performing engineering organization.Responsibilities:Lead and develop a team of equipment engineers to achieve manufacturing, quality, output, and cost objectivesDefine team strategy, establish performance goals, and allocate resources to support business prioritiesDrive equipment optimization initiatives to enhance yield, throughput, and operational efficiencyPartner with global manufacturing and engineering teams to implement best-known methods and support equipment installation, modification, and relocation projectsCommunicate technical and business updates to leadership, team members, and large multi-functional audiencesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related technical fieldMinimum 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience with previous people leadership experienceDemonstrated success leading teams, managing multiple complex projects, and solving challenging technical problemsStrong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment engineering practices, and operational excellence methodologiesExcellent communication, organizational, data analysis, troubleshooting, and decision-making skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience leading large engineering organizations in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environmentsProven ability to build collaborative partnerships across manufacturing, engineering, facilities, and supplier organizationsStrong experience coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and talent developmentExperience using AI-enabled tools, machine learning, automation platforms, or advanced data analytics to improve engineering decisions and productivityExperience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiativesAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
