You will lead a team across shifts, support daily execution in the fab, and help remove barriers that slow development. The role offers strong visibility, direct impact on R&D outcomes, and the opportunity to grow both people and processes.Responsibilities:Lead shift-based execution for thin films process development and wafer flowManage and develop engineers through coaching, mentorship, and performance feedbackPartner with process, integration, and equipment teams to align prioritiesEnsure data quality, address customer concerns, and resolve yield and defect challengesDrive operational improvements using data science and AI-Enabled approachesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experienceExperience in thin films process development including CVD, PVD, or related areasDemonstrated leadership in a technical or manufacturing environmentStrong problem-solving and communication skillsUnderstanding of deposition physics, kinetics, or transport phenomenareferred Qualifications:PhD or MS or equivalent experience with 5+ years, or BS with 10+ years of semiconductor experienceDeep knowledge of thin film deposition and related process technologiesExperience in shift-based manufacturing or R&D environmentsStrong multi-functional collaboration and mentoring experienceExperience Applying Artificial Intelligence to improve engineering workflowsAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
