This role sits at the center of some of our most critical platform investments. You will partner closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across the AI ecosystem to improve reliability, scalability, efficiency, and operational health for AI-powered experiences used by millions of customers.Success in this role requires strong systems thinking and technical judgment. You will identify service bottlenecks, operational pain points, and platform debt, then work across teams to prioritize and drive the investments that deliver the greatest customer and business impact. You will define the metrics that matter, use data and operational insights to guide decisions, and help teams focus on outcomes rather than activity.The ideal candidate is a product leader who thinks like a systems architect. You are comfortable reasoning about large-scale distributed systems, service dependencies, reliability tradeoffs, and operational complexity. You enjoy working across organizational boundaries, influencing technical direction, and bringing clarity to complex problems. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
