Join the Systems Planning and Architecture (SPARC) team within Microsoft’s Azure Hardware Systems and Infrastructure (AHSI) organization, the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's cloud businesses including Microsoft Azure, Bing, MSN, Office 365, OneDrive, Skype, Teams and Xbox Live. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team!ResponsibilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES: Support the development and execution of Azure Compute initiatives by driving planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination of the Platform Infrastructure. Focus on resolving supply-related challenges, ensuring long-term capacity readiness for cloud services, and delivering efficiency improvements that strengthen business performance and margin outcomes. Engage with Microsoft cloud business units to define future hardware platform and system requirements and align recommendations for executive approval. Define and own platform roadmap and strategy that spans concept, POR, qualification, launch, and scale. Drive cross-org alignment through interlocks with members from various business units including software and hardware engineering and architecture, networking, datacenter infrastructure, finance, and supply chain management to build data-driven strategic frameworks for decision making. Identify and mitigate platform, schedule, and dependency risks early; drive trade-off decisions with clarity and data. Define success metrics and track execution against committed milestones QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experienceOther Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Familiarity and previous experience developing programs through phase gate processes. Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
