ResponsibilitiesDrive architecture and technical design for multi-tenant, highly available, and secure distributed systems. Build and integrate services across Microsoft Edge, Microsoft 365, and Azure ecosystems to deliver end-to-end customer solutions. Lead engineering efforts from concept through deployment, including design reviews, implementation, testing, monitoring, and live-site operations. Collaborate across partner teams to define technical strategy, align dependencies, and deliver cohesive customer experiences. Analyze reliability, scalability, performance, and security challenges, and drive long-term architectural improvements. Mentor engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and engineering best practices. Leverage telemetry, customer feedback, and operational insights to continuously improve product quality and customer satisfaction. Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning. QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience. Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
