This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of cloud-scale services, AI, real-time communications, and Copilot innovation while helping shape the future of intelligent collaboration.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and operate highly scalable distributed services powering AI-driven communications and collaboration experiences.Develop next-generation platforms that extract insights and semantic understanding from voice, video, screen sharing, and meeting interactions.Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, designers, and partner engineering teams to deliver innovative customer-focused solutions.Drive system architecture, technical design, and engineering excellence with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and performance.Leverage modern AI technologies, agentic workflows, and cloud services to create intelligent enterprise experiences.Improve service health through observability, automation, incident response, and operational excellence.Mentor engineers, contribute to design and code reviews, and help foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.Take ownership of end-to-end delivery from design and implementation through production operations and customer impact.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
