ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Software Engineer in this role will:Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and solutions using established platform practices.Administer ServiceNow configurations, workflows, data quality, and upgrade readiness using low-code and no-code capabilities.Develop workflow automation using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and other ServiceNow capabilities.Translate business requirements into technical solutions with defined outcomes.Develop workflows, business rules, and automations that support operational efficiency and reliability.Develop and maintain REST APIs and enterprise integrations to support end-to-end integration requirements.Manage instance security, user and group access, roles, related permissions, and access control lists (ACLs).Embody our culture and values.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience. Familiarity with ServiceNow design patterns, distributed systems, API integration, and modern engineering practices.Ability to analyze complex problems and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.5+ years of experience designing and developing solutions within a ServiceNow environment.Experience with the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.Experience delivering AI-enabled business solutions that support productivity, automation, and user experience objectives.Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow Vendor Risk Management (VRM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities. #MSD #MSDJOBS Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
