We turn real customer scenarios, product innovation, usage insights, and side-by-side evaluations into compelling content and experiences that make AI practical, differentiated, and valuable for every worker - helping customers see why Microsoft 365 Copilot is the best AI for work.The Microsoft 365 Copilot Outbound product marketing team is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager, Microsoft 365 Copilot to help shape how customers, sellers, partners, and the market understand Microsoft 365 Copilot through clear, evidence-based storytelling. In this role, you will focus on evaluations that compare Copilot experiences, workflows, and outcomes against relevant alternatives, translating hands-on findings into practical guidance for positioning, messaging, readiness, and customer conversations. You will partner closely with product marketing, product management, engineering, research, and sales teams to define evaluation scenarios, capture product truth, and turn insights into outbound assets that help audiences understand where Copilot is differentiated, how it performs in real-world workflows, and how to address common questions or objections. ResponsibilitiesSupport outbound product positioning and messaging for Microsoft 365 Copilot that is grounded in product truth, customer needs, competitive context, and differentiated value.Plan and execute evaluations across priority customer scenarios, including productivity workflows, collaboration use cases, knowledge work tasks, and role-based scenarios.Translate evaluation findings into clear, evidence-based guidance for messaging, demos, seller readiness, customer-facing content, objection handling, and executive narratives.Partner with PM, engineering, research, competitive intelligence, sales, and customer-facing teams to validate claims, clarify how capabilities work, and document current strengths, constraints, and roadmap considerations. Build and maintain evaluation frameworks, test plans, scenario libraries, scorecards, and findings summaries that create consistency and repeatability across assessments.Develop outbound assets such as comparison guidance, demo talk tracks, FAQs, blog inputs, launch content, field enablement materials, and customer-ready proof points.Bring customer and field signals into evaluation priorities, helping the team identify where additional clarity, proof, or readiness is needed to support adoption and compete effectively.Collaborate with marketing partners to ensure insights are translated into simple, compelling narratives across channels.Operate with strong judgment, attention to detail, and a bias for action while balancing speed, accuracy, and cross-functional alignment.QualificationsRequired/minimum qualificationsMaster's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, Communications, Engineering or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business, product marketing, technical marketing, product management, competitive analysis,OR equivalent experience.Additional or preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, Communications, Engineering or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business, product marketing, technical marketing, product management, competitive analysis,OR equivalent experience.Experience marketing AI-powered products, productivity services, collaboration tools, cloud services, or enterprise software.Experience conducting product evaluations, workflow comparisons, competitive teardowns, demo replication, scenario-based testing, or structured qualitative analysis.Ability to turn complex product behavior, customer needs, and competitive signals into clear, concise, outcome-oriented marketing content.Experience developing product positioning, messaging, launch content, seller readiness, customer-facing narratives, or competitive guidance.Writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create assets that work for both business decision makers and customer-facing teams.Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration skills with product management, engineering, research, design, sales, field, or marketing stakeholders.Customer-obsessed mindset with the ability to identify adoption blockers, objections, proof needs, and opportunities to improve readiness.Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments; able to create structure, prioritize effectively, and drive work forward with limited oversight.Familiarity with enterprise customer considerations such as security, privacy, compliance, admin controls, change management, and deployment readiness.Analytical mindset with attention to detail and an ability to separate evidence, interpretation, and recommendation in written outputs.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to balance quality, speed, and stakeholder alignment. Product Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $86,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $113,300 - $187,400 per year. Responsibilities

  • Support outbound product positioning and messaging for Microsoft 365 Copilot that is grounded in product truth, customer needs, competitive context, and differentiated value.
