Job Description

The RoleModerna is seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join the In Vivo Pharmacology team in support of autoimmune disease programs. This is a hands-on vivarium-based role focused primarily on autoimmune and inflammatory models, including immune cell modulation and pharmacodynamic assessment of novel therapeutic candidates.The successful candidate will contribute to the scheduling and execution of preclinical in vivo studies that support early research programs. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An individual’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs. Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on in vivo research experience with demonstrated ability to execute studies with increasing independence (experience, 4 years)
  • Experience with autoimmune or inflammatory disease models (experience)
  • Familiarity with oncology or immuno-oncology models is desirable but not required (experience)
  • Proficiency with GraphPad Prism and Excel; experience with Benchling In Vivo is highly desirable (experience)

  • Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with IACUC, animal welfare, biosafety, and institutional policies
