Then this role is for you.You will take technical ownership of a production line with a strong focus on automation systems, while maintaining and strengthening our continuous improvement (CI) processes. Your mission: maximize uptime, eliminate recurring failures, and drive equipment reliability through smart, hands-on engineering and structured CI methodologies.How You Will ContributeYou will:Own the technical performance and availability of the production line – proactively identifying and eliminating recurring stops and disturbancesTroubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues across PLC, HMI, VFDs, drives, sensors, servo systems, and industrial networkingDiagnose and support mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings) when needed as part of holistic troubleshootingFacilitate structured root cause analysis (RCA, 5-Why, Fishbone) to address chronic losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps, and implement sustainable countermeasuresDevelop and drive preventive and condition-based maintenance strategies with a strong focus on automation reliabilityProvide training on CI tools, techniques, and autonomous maintenance (AM) to build first-line defense capabilities among operators and colleaguesSupport teams in data collection and analysis to drive CI activities and our daily management system (DMS)Establish new work standards to sustain improvements and document technical solutions that strengthen the team long-termManage critical spare parts and proactively address component availability risksWhat You Will BringA passion for automation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, along with:Strong experience in troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems (PLC, HMI, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, industrial communication protocols) – Siemens or Allen-Bradley preferredCI and high-performance work systems experience, with application of Lean and/or TPM tools in a factory or operations environmentBasic mechanical understanding to support holistic troubleshooting when neededAbility to manipulate and validate data in manual and automated systems; mastery of Excel and other data analytics toolsStrong facilitation and communication skills to train operators, support CI discussions, and collaborate cross-functionallyA creative, resourceful mindset – you find effective solutions even with constraintsStructured and organized thinking to extract insights from data and sustain the DMS processBonus: experience extending equipment life through smart automation upgrades and engineering strategiesWhy You'll Love This RoleHigh impact – your work directly drives production output and line performanceTechnical depth – you'll dig deep into automation systems and build expertise that mattersAutonomy – you own the technical strategy for your lineVisible results – every improvement you make is immediately measurableWe offer: Health & Benefits: Friskvårdsbidrag (Wellness allowance), on-site gym, health check-ups at age intervals, and subsidized on-site massage and chiropractor.
