Make It With Pride.The HSE Coordinator supports the HSE Manager in implementing and maintaining the company's Health & Safety Policy at the Athens confectionery and chocolate manufacturing plant. The role ensures that all production and support activities are conducted with the highest concern for health and safety, fostering a world-class safety culture and driving continuous improvement toward an accident-free workplace. How you will contributeYou will:Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help lead plant to achieve Zero accidents and IncidentsBe responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes in compliance with HSE Standards as referenced in the applicable HSE Management SystemMonitor and ensure compliance with applicable Greek occupational Health and Safety legislation and all applicable EU regulationsConduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments and risk evaluations specific to confectionary manufacturing hazardsParticipate in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non-conformancesProvide Health and Safety expertise for the plant for all new projects and change management activitiesFollow up on non-conformances and develops the systems to resolve them based on root cause analysisMaintain an up-to-date incident reporting system, assist with investigating incidents in conjunction with the HSE Pillar team/safety committee and drive the completion of corrective actions to eliminate root causes/reoccurrenceDevelop technical guidance programs to identify and remove physical hazards`What you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:Environmental Health and Safety CultureEnvironmental Health and Safety training in specialized areasExperience in safety, and/or environmental technical standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels and globallyUnderstanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances including experience with ISOStrong knowledge of applicable Greek and EU health and safety legislationUnderstanding of food manufacturing hazards specific to confectionary and chocolate productionProficiency in incident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis​More about this roleLanguage: Fluency in Greek is a requirementGood command of English is required for corporate reporting and communicationEducation / Certifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in EngineeringJob specific requirements:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees at all levels, including production floor operatorsAnalytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and develop practical solutionsStrong organizations skills with attention to detail in documentation and reportingAbility to deliver engaging training sessions and safety awareness campaigns in Greek languageProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of PowerBI (desirable)Please note this position will be based in our Athens Plant.
