Make It With Pride.The Line Leader is responsible for the short- and long-term performance of the line(s) across all shifts. They lead the line team (Process Engineer and Line Technician Leader) and are responsible for Environment, Health & Safety, Quality, and all governance forums for the line. Owns the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Management System and Standard Work Practices for the line. Leads the preparation of the line team and facilitates the meetings.How you will contributeYou will:Direct manager for line team: Process Engineer, Technical Lead, Shift Leaders, Maintainers and Machine Operators, including performance reviews and target setting.Deploys and manages health and safety processes for the line, working with the health and safety department. Works with the Safety Team to reduce accidents, incidents and risk rating. Owns the plan to complete risk assessments and drive the closure of gaps.Deploys and manages quality processes on the line in alignment with the quality department, according to regulatory, corporate quality, food safety and GMP rules.Works with the quality team to decrease consumer complaints. Accountable for implementing effective preventative measures following safety and quality incidents. Owns the loss elimination cycle for the line and executes distinct parts of loss elimination plans. Supports and leads problem-solving sessions.Coaches each direct report to improve their performance and supports their personal development through regular reviews and by providing learning opportunities. Coaches operators on standard work processes. Develops and drives the longer-term line improvement plan. Manages fixed costs to budget.
