Audit manufacturing control plans for new products and processes.Drive continuous improvement in the areas of Quality Assurance and Food Safety by setting goals and identifying key performance indicators in this area of the business Ensures adherence to appropriate regulations and Company standards for quality. Education / Certifications:B.S. degree in Food Science, Engineering, Microbiology, Chemistry, or other related Sciences Minimum 3+ years related experience (Quality, Supply Chain, Food Safety &/or R&D) Job specific requirements:Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work Previous roles partnering with external partners Experience working in a food manufacturing environment. Fundamental understanding of Sanitation, Hygienic Design, Pest Control, Quality, HACCP, and Food Safety principles. Highly proficient computer (MS Office) and Communication skills (Verbal and Written) are required Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. Travel requirements:Approximately 30%- 40% travel may be required for key project needsSalary and Benefits:The base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
