Job Description

We're seeking someone to join Security Development team as a Security Developer.In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities.This is a Vice President level role, which is part of the job family responsible providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role:Analyze communicated requirements and come up with tech design.Research, develop tech solutions based on communicated requirements and tech designBuild solutions to enhance Firm wide cyber security posture, and existing CDRR products/processes via AI.Create documentation/support procedures and assist operation/SRE team for operational work.Enforce software SLDC in the development circle.Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural reviewWhat you'll bring to the role:Technical Skills RequiredFamiliar with Python programming language.Experience of using open-source frameworks like pytorch, langchain, etcFamiliar with test driven development methodology.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like (GIT, Jenkins, Team City)Experience of using database, like RDBMS or NoSQL or graph database.At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.Desired Skills:Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, e.g. finetune, distillation, retrieval-augmented-generation, MCP, A2AGood knowledge of core AI/ML concepts.Experience of data engineering.Experience with Agile methodology, e.g. spring planning, daily Scrum, retrospective etc.Basic knowledge of using Linux.Awareness of Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, Splunk, Public Cloud managementExcellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approachWhat you can expect from Morgan Stanley At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
