Morgan Stanley's Rewards & Analytics team is seeking a Compensation Associate to support the Investment Banking Division (IBD) and Global Capital Markets (GCM). This role combines traditional compensation execution with an expectation to help automate, modernize, and scale how insights are delivered.What you’ll do in the role:Compensation & AnalyticsSupport both mid-year and year-end salary and bonus processesConduct compensation modeling, benchmarking, and market analysesSupport compensation forecasting, budgeting, and reportingPrepare senior management exhibits and presentationsAnalyze compensation and workforce trends to develop actionable insightsPartner with HR Partners and business leaders on compensation-related initiativesSupport strategic workforce compensation needs and ad hoc business analysesAutomation, Data & AIIdentify opportunities to automate and streamline compensation processesLeverage AI and analytics tools to improve reporting and decision supportPartner with HR Strats, HR Technology, and Compensation team on modernization initiativesEvaluate emerging technologies and practical AI applications across Compensation and HRWhat you'll bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in analytical discipline2–6 years of experience in Compensation, HR Analytics, HR Strategy, or a related analytical roleAdvanced excel, problem-solving, and communication skillsInterest in automation, AI, and data-driven decision makingExperience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Snowflake, or similar tools is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvementWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in analytical discipline (degree in analytical discipline)
  • 2–6 years of experience in Compensation, HR Analytics, HR Strategy, or a related analytical role (experience, 6 years)
  • Advanced excel, problem-solving, and communication skills (experience)
  • Interest in automation, AI, and data-driven decision making (experience)
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Snowflake, or similar tools is a plus (experience)
