We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Prime Brokerage Strats, Associate/Vice President.In the Prime Brokerage and Institutional Equity division, we provide our clients around the world with intellectual insights and innovative product solutions and services that help them generate alpha.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you’ll do in the role:The team works with Prime Brokerage Pricing Team, Delta One Swap Desk and Stock Loan Desk covering the Asia region and the role is responsible for:Development of reporting/analytics for Prime Brokerage client metricsAnalysis of inventory efficiencyAnalytics/ad-hoc development in support of new productsDevelopment/enhancement of strat tools created for Sales/TradingCollaborating with other divisions within the organization (IT, Operations, Controllers) to improve desk workflow/efficiency/risk controlsDevelopment of quick time-to-market technical enhancements to trading flows to meet near-term trader, client, risk, or regulatory requirementsWhat you’ll bring to the role:Bachelor's/Master's/PhDMathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Math, and Engineering or a related quantitative fieldKnowledge of coding languages such as Python, Q/KDB+, SQL, C++, C# or Java is a strong advantageKnowledge of optimal trade execution, order management and market microstructure is an advantageYou have strong verbal and written communication skillsYou enjoy solving complex problems that require deep analytical reasoning and quantitative analysisYou are collaborative, a quick learner, a team player, adaptable, versatile, a multi-tasker and possess a strong work ethicWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
