(*in collaboration with AbbVie)About the Role:Performs various delivery, stocking, data entry, shipping and miscellaneous office duties. Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items as necessary. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Examines, stocks and distributes materials to inventory and end users._Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Responsible for receipt, delivery or storing of incoming packages or goodsEnsures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory or proper employeeReviews receipt of all materials to ensure the quantity and the quality of materials received are correctEnsures the security and accountability of materials and goods deliveredPerforms data entry and maintain necessary documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activitiesAnalyzes reports and documents and correct noted deficiencies in a timely mannerSupports stock allocation to scientific departmentsProcesses outgoing shipments and returns. Prepares and maintains records of materials shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipmentCollects, washes, and restocks laboratory glasswareOther duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma / Associates degree and 2+ years of data entry and receiving experience preferred. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 15% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.

  • Understand tracking mechanism for shipments / returns (experience)
