About the Role:Responsible for the execution and maintenance of product/disease specific projects to establish prevalence or burden of disease/symptoms or health outcomes from treatment. Works closely with the Global Clinical Development, Medical Affairs teams and Brand teams to achieve departmental and corporate strategic objectives. Contributes to the HEOR strategy development._Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Designs, develops and implements projects to assist in the creation of disease or product specific evidence to inform commercial strategy, value assessment and market accessWork closely with the development or brand team lead to be responsible for HEOR contentCollaborates with internal business partners to meet the evidence needs of external consumersOversee and manage vendorsAssist in meeting Departmental goalsInvolved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. Oversees development and implementation of tactical initiatives through subordinate employeesWorks on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectivesImplements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsEstablishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirementsOther duties as assignedRequirements:MPH, MS in Health Outcomes or Health Economics or related degree AND 6+ years of Pharmaceutical industry experience in a HEOR role with direct research experience preferred; completion of an HEOR 2-year fellowship with a research focus desired ORPhD in HE or HO or related field or PharmD AND 4+ years of similar experience noted above ORPrevious managerial / functional management experience also requiredRequires broad understanding of the processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the team’s work and familiarity with the underlying concepts in other disciplines within the functionApplies in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the function and understands contribution to Neurocrine's achievement of business objectivesEffective interpersonal skills including the ability to build successful relationships with internal experts/teams and other stakeholdersHas reputation inside the company as it relates to area of expertiseAbility to work as part of and lead multiple teamsStrong leadership skills and abilities, manages internal and/or external teamsExcellent communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skillsSees broader picture, impact on multiple departments/divisionsAbility to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiencyExcellent project management skillsAttention to detail and confidentiality are essentialStrong data analytic skills. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.

  • PhD in HE or HO or related field or PharmD AND 4+ years of similar experience noted above OR (experience, 4 years)
  • Previous managerial / functional management experience also required (experience)
  • Requires broad understanding of the processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the team’s work and familiarity with the underlying concepts in other disciplines within the function (experience)
  • Applies in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the function and understands contribution to Neurocrine's achievement of business objectives (experience)
