Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for cloud-native application development, aligning with overall product strategy and business objectives.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Architectural Oversight: Guide the architectural design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native applications using microservices, containers (e.g., Docker), and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).Development Lifecycle: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, deployment, and operational support, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.Technology Adoption: Drive the adoption of modern cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies (e.g., CI/CD, DevOps, GitOps), including AI-powered development tools and Low Code/No code (LCNC) platforms, to enhance development efficiency and product quality.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Management, other R&D teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless integration across systems.Performance & Scalability: Ensure applications are designed for high performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability in a cloud environment.Budget & Resource Management: Manage R&D budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively to deliver on commitments.Industry Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud-native development, AI, and LCNC, incorporating relevant advancements into our strategy. Must-Have:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.At least 10 years of experience in R&D, software development, or technology leadership roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity.Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, machine learning and their practical application in software development.Demonstrated expertise in Software Architecture and Design and programming languages viz. Python, JavaHands-on experience and proficiency with AI-powered coding assistants such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and application architecture principles.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across an organization.Nice-To-Have:Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.Experience in telecommunications domain or related high-tech industries.
