We are seeking a highly skilled IMS Core Network Expert to join our dynamic team at GSD MS Managed Performance Services. This role is critical in ensuring the performance, optimization, and reliability of Nokia CS/IMS Core network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in IMS protocols, call flows, and 3GPP standards, along with hands-on experience in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and network optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions, resolve customer issues, and enhance network KPIs to meet industry benchmarks. Nokia IMS Core Network Optimization: KPI calculation, Capacity forecasting, and network audits. Identify performance bottlenecks and resolve incidents.IMS Call Flow & Protocol Analysis: Troubleshoot Registration, SIP call setup/teardown, RTP/RTCP, EPSFB, and Interworking. Analyze SIP error codes and cause codes.Network Operations & Customer Support: Interface with customers, perform end-to-end tracing and call flow analysis, and provide technical resolutions.Network Architecture & Optimization: Design, deploy, and maintain CS/IMS Core elements. Collaborate on network enhancements and capacity planning.Automation & Tooling: Utilize Power BI, NetAct/OSS, and Cloud platforms for monitoring. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports, lead CS/IMS Core performance meetings, and define database/network parameters. Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/Electrical/Communication/Computer ScienceMinimum 12+ years of domain experienceStrong knowledge of Nokia IMS Core and CS Core KPIs.Solid working experience in latest Nokia Products – CNCS IMS, SDM/SDL, UDM & AUSFVast experience on optimization & troubleshooting of Nokia IMS & CS Core nodesSound Knowledge on IMS parameters & timers, policies and their impact on network performanceExpertise in IMS protocols (SIP, SDP, Diameter, RTP/RTCP) and 3GPP signalling.Hands-on experience with Wireshark tracing, any Network Probing tools (RADCOM, NETSCOUT, Polystar, etc.) - Perform e2e tracing and call flow analysis, collect logs and analyze and come with actionable insights. Experience in End-to-End Roaming KPI monitoring.Deep understanding of HLD, LLD, MOP Validation and IMS Core network planning.Strong analytical & troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in shifts to support global customer projects.Proficient in English, MS Office & PowerBISkilled in any of Kubernetes, Docker, AWS services, Scripting, and/or Python programming is added advantage.
