The Nokia NI Supply Chain Fixed Networks Test Engineering team is responsible for designing and maintaining manufacturing test solutions for the full Fixed Networks portfolio, including GPON, and copper technologies, both for Customer Premise Equipment as Central Office equipment. Currently, we are expanding our operations with our manufacturing vendors in South East Asia. To support and guarantee that the test operations with those vendors are according to Nokia standards, we are currently looking for an On-Site Support Test Engineer. This engineer will be based in Malaysia but will support factories in Vietnam, Thailand, China, India and Malaysia as well. In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site test system maintenance, including:Support factory test operations, data analysis of production performanceWork with designers and for problem solving and improvementsSupport changes, factory transfers, new product introductionAlign test and improvement strategies across multiple factory sites You have:Major in Electrical/Electronics engineering. Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related. At least 3 years work experience with Master degree or 5 years work experience with Bachelor degree.Understanding of the communication standard of optical communication network, test experience with related product.Working experience in factory/production environment.Good experience in programming and prompting - Python is preferred.Been familiar with the commonly used test instrument, instrument control and programming experience is preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of computer and communication network could understand the new communication protocol and product requirement swiftly.Good working enthusiasm and teamwork spirit.Good in communication skill and problem solving.Good written and oral in English - Knowledge of Chinese language is strongly preferred. It would be nice if you also had:Knowledge of other communication domains (voice, copper, Wifi, RF)Mechanical/fixture design expertiseSoftware test experience.Experience on large-scale project.
