The Technical Specialist will be a key member of the Network Services team, offering technical support and expertise in a fast-paced operational environment. They will play a vital role in resolving incidents, managing network changes, and providing mentorship to junior team members. The successful candidate will have a strong background in wireless network design, configuration, and deployment, with a focus on Aruba and Cisco solutions. Resolve high-priority incidents and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Manage incident tickets, provide technical solutions, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors. Perform root cause analysis, document findings, and recommend improvements for network design. Follow change and problem management processes for network updates and implementations. Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and assist with remote project implementations. Design and implement wireless networks, including Access Points, Controllers, and Gateways. Manage authentication solutions using ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) or Cisco ISE. Troubleshoot complex wireless network issues and provide technical support to users. Maintain detailed technical documentation for wireless network configurations. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment. Bachelor's or Engineering degree in Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science. 6+ years of experience in Network Services, with a strong focus on complex network environments. Proven experience in Wireless LAN design, configuration, and deployment with Aruba or Cisco technologies. Hands-on expertise with Aruba WLAN products and ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM). Expertise in complex routing design and troubleshooting across multi-vendor platforms. Strong ability to diagnose and resolve network issues, with a basic understanding of core network technologies. Proficiency in authentication protocols (Radius, TACACs, LDAP) and network security principles. Experience in requirement gathering for network solutions and a good understanding of Enterprise WLAN concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively. Certifications such as ACCP, ACMA, or ACCX are highly desirable.
