With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.As a Consultant – Portfolio Management Office at Northern Trust, core responsibilities will include:Working with Product Owner and Project Managers to collate the key updates, risk factors on multiple projects and communicate the outcomes clearly and timely to senior stakeholders.Monitoring and timely reporting on the productivity savings for each portfolio and initiative while collaborating with cross-functional teams globally.Monitoring monthly Financials for each portfolio and project and communicating outcomes clearly and timely to key stakeholders.Operating independently and has in-depth knowledge of business unit, specific area of expertise and strong knowledge in other areas.Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or Senior ManagementUtilizing Excel, PowerBi, and Clarity for tracking information, preparing dashboards, and analysing project expense and costs.Required Skills & QualificationsEssential Skills:6 to 7 years of proven experience in Project Management within the capital markets domain.Good analytical skills with strong logical reasoning to solve complex problems and take effective decisions.Strong expertise in financial analysis, cost benefit analysis, and stakeholder coordination.Hands-on proficiency with project management and dashboarding tools like Accel DevOps, Clarity, PowerBi, and Microsoft Excel.Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.Preferred (Good to Have):Experience in handling large scale projects from planning, budgeting and resourcing perspective.Familiarity with cost benefit analysis, risk management, and regulatory frameworks in financial services.Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.SAFe 6 certification would be added advantageAny other relevant industry qualification is preferred.Working with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
