Role/Department: The Project Manager role will be responsible for working on a variety of projects that could be single large scale projects, multiple smaller/less complex projects or a work stream. The Project Manager will manage a BU project or program to successful outcome.This role is responsible for aligning resources, overseeing the budget, creating project plans and tracking key milestones/risks/dependencies; being a key coordinator to ensure activities are completed.The key responsibilities of the role include:Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.As subject area expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.Operate independently and has in-depth knowledge of business unit, specific area of expertise and strong knowledge in other areas.Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areasAs subject area expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical levelCarry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficultRole is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activitiesConducts preliminary analysisResponsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or managementSkills/Qualifications:The successful candidate will benefit from having:Excellent oral and written communication skillsIn-depth Functional / Industry KnowledgeHighly flexible and adaptable to change.Related Industry qualification is preferred.Work AuthorizationApplicants must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application and for the duration of employment.Please note that Northern Trust is unable to provide employment permit sponsorship for this role.
