Role OverviewWe are currently recruiting a Senior Consultant to join our growing Private Equity Fund Accounting team in Limerick. This is a key role within the division, responsible for reviewing team output, managing workloads, and ensuring delivery in line with agreed service levels.You will provide leadership across the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment while maintaining a strong focus on client service and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the continued growth and development of the Private Equity teamDeliver high-quality client service through accurate and timely execution of all deliverablesManage team workloads effectively to ensure deadlines and SLAs are consistently metReview and oversee the completion of NAVs and valuationsEnhance client reporting processes and identify opportunities for improvementProvide coaching, training, and ongoing support to team membersPromote a positive, respectful, and high-performing team cultureEnsure strong risk awareness and adherence to internal controlsAct as a key point of contact for clients and external auditors, managing queries effectivelyEnsure compliance with regulatory and client reporting deadlinesSupport team development, providing regular and constructive feedbackContribute to strategic initiatives, including offshore team development and process automation (Investran)Assist in delivering on departmental goals and strategic prioritiesSupport onboarding of new clients, including fund structures and reporting requirementsCommunicate effectively with clients, investors, and stakeholdersStay informed on industry, market, and regulatory developmentsSkills & ExperienceQualified accountant with extensive post-qualification experienceStrong knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRSUnderstanding of Irish regulatory and tax requirements relevant to fund accountingExperience in, or strong interest in, Private Equity Fund AdministrationProven ability to lead and develop high-performing teamsStrong client service mindsetExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to prioritise, multitask, and work to tight deadlinesStrong problem-solving skills and ownership mindsetProficient in MS Excel and comfortable with systems/process improvement initiativesExperience driving efficiencies and automation in processesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and confidently at all levelsWork AuthorizationApplicants must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application and for the duration of employment.Please note that Northern Trust is unable to provide employment permit sponsorship for this role.
