As an Aviation Safety Specialist, you'll work within our Mission Assurance team to support the Aviation Safety Management System (AvSMS), ensuring compliance, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement across complex aviation programs.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the AvSMS.Conducting aviation safety audits, investigations, and assurance activities.Monitoring regulatory compliance across Defence and aviation programs.Analysing safety data, identifying risks, and reporting on safety performance.Facilitating safety meetings, training, and stakeholder engagement activities.Promoting a strong safety culture that supports mission success.About you:You are a collaborative aviation safety professional with a passion for continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence.
