Roles and responsibilities will include:Execute scanning and transfer of data between classified environments in strict accordance with SCG and JSIGVerify classification, releasability, and handling caveats against the SCG prior to any data movementApply approved antivirus and malware scanning procedures to all data before and after transferEnsure proper markings, labels, and metadata (classification, caveats, dissemination controls) on all transferred dataMaintain complete and accurate logs for each transfer: requester, approver, source, destination, content description, date/time, and resultsEnforce authorized tools, media, and workflows for data transfer; prohibit and report any unapproved methodsProtect chain of custody for all data and removable media; track issuance, use, and dispositionImmediately escalate suspected malware, data spills, or deviations from the SCG/JSIG to ISSO/ISSM and program leadershipCoordinate with security, system administration, and program teams to validate requirements and resolve transfer issuesRecommend procedural improvements to strengthen data transfer security, compliance, and efficiencyThis role calls for someone who can handle a steady flow of repetitive work without losing focus or accuracy. You’ll need to stay flexible as priorities and deadlines shift, be comfortable working independently with minimal direction, and clearly explain and document what you’re seeing in the monitoring platform—especially when issues arise and leaders need quick, precise updates.Basic QualificationsLevel 2: Associate’s degree and 0 years of relevant experience; OR High School diploma/equivalent and 2 years of relevant experienceLevel 3: Bachelor's degree and 0 years relevant experience; OR Associate's degree and 2 years relevant experience; OR High School diploma/equivalent and 4 years of relevant experienceAdditional Basic QualificationsMust have the ability to obtain a US Government Top Secret level security clearance within a reasonable period as determined by the company and by program and/or customer requirements; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government 8140 requirements for a Cybersecurity (722) – (Example: Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP) Experience working in classified environments with strict adherence to SCG and JSIG guidanceHands-on experience scanning data with approved antivirus/endpoint protection tools prior to transferExperience with how Windows handles file transfers across networks and devices (e.g., shared drives, mapped network locations, USB/external storage), including permissions, transfer performance, and common failure modes.Demonstrated ability to follow documented data transfer procedures, maintain logs, and protect chain of custodyStrong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating transfer requests and documenting resultsPreferred Qualifications3–5+ years supporting data movement or cybersecurity operations in DoD/IC or similar classified environmentsDirect experience interpreting SCGs and applying JSIG requirements to day-to-day data handling activitiesFamiliarity with cross-domain solutions, air-gapped networks, and handling of removable media in classified settingsExperience collaborating with ISSO/ISSM, system administrators, and program leadership on security and data transfer issues CIDOPrimary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
