Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as an Electronic Technician 3, based out of Rolling Meadows, IL.What You'll get to do: Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions to perform routine testing, troubleshooting, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasksPerform routine operational tests and fault isolation on production hardware and equipment to ensure conformance and design specificationsDiagnose and isolate malfunctions down to component levelConduct defined engineering test and collect data as assignedUtilize routine development or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, DVM, signal generators, and similar test apparatusExecute test procedures, accurately record data, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and military standardsEnsure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and security standardsThis is a 4th shift position, working from 6am to 6:30pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Training will be conducted during 1st shift hours.Basic Qualifications for Electronic Technician 3:High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience; OR an Associates Degree in Electronics or Technical with 2 or more years of relevant work experienceExperience with Microsoft Office applicationsActive DoD Secret ClearanceU.S citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications Electronic Technician 3:Associate of Science degree or higher (or Technical degree) in electronic technology or electronics focused major OR graduate of a two-year, full time electronic technology school or six months of military electronics schoolExperience with RF applications, automated testing, and environmental testingExperience using SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software to document testing performed, enter test results, and create Quality Notifications for any discrepancies foundMilitary experience working with electronic equipment/systemsExperience with continuous improvement and process improvement principles Primary Level Salary Range: $63,500.00 - $105,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
