As a Financial Analyst – Level 2 or Level 3 located in Redondo Beach, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. Northrop Grumman Intelligence Systems Division (ISD) has an opening for a Financial Analyst - Level 2 or Level 3 on the financial team within the Intelligence & Sensing (I&S) Business Unit (BU). The role will report to the I&S Finance Manager and will be responsible for the financial analysis of the I&S BU and supporting programs.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Strategic planning, reporting, and analysis of key financial metrics (Sales, Margin, Cash, Awards) for the I&S BU. Includes quarterly Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) contract profitability assessment, cash flow/balance sheet management, risk and opportunity assessmentSupport monthly and quarterly financial deliverables and analysisSupport development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) through collaboration with Business and Program ManagementPerform ad-hoc exercises for financial impact/profitability analysisCollaborative work style: ability to interface with different functions and levels of leadership both within and outside of the BUOperate in a dynamic environment with competing priorities, while maintaining attention to detailOther duties as assigned This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or Level 3.Basic Qualifications for Level 2:Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of related professional experienceWill consider additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeRequires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application, current and within scopeHigh proficiency with MS Office tools, especially ExcelBasic Qualifications for Level 3:Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience in – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of related professional experience – OR – PhD with 1 year of related professional experienceWill consider additional 4+ years in lieu of experienceRequires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application, current and within scopeHigh proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Northrop Grumman Space Systems financial reporting tools (SAP, Cobra, Cognos/NGFP)Financial analysis and reporting including development of forecast, profitability, and cash flow analysisPrior experience in the aerospace & defense industryAnalytical; makes recommendations using acquired data and experienceDetail and results oriented; ability to deliver timely and accurate results under time sensitive conditionsExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
