This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The Quality Inspector will perform required inspections (visual, dimensional, load tests, etc.) on mechanical, electrical or structural components or systems to ensure conformance with the quality requirements for spacecraft components and associated systems.This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.In this job, you will:Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products.Perform required inspections (visual, dimensional, and functional, etc.) on spacecraft components. Uses various measuring devices, such as caliper, micrometer, comparator, pin gages, and Coordinate Measuring Machine.This job has decision-making responsibilities with regards to the acceptance or rejection of work and tests performed.Inspects and performs tests on mechanical, electrical, or structural components and assemblies related to spacecraft components and sub-assemblies.
