Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector (NGAS) is currently seeking a Principal Contract Administrator Level 3 to join the Sustainment Operating Unit in Oklahoma City, OK following a Hybrid 9/80 work schedule. This position requires a basic understanding of DoD Contracting, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, proactive, will possess good analytical skills, will demonstrate problem-solving skills, and will be detail-oriented.Responsibilities:Interfaces with external customers and internal business partners, conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administrationExamines proposal requirements and estimates, prepares bids, analyzes terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specificationsProcesses contractual documentation and reports, advises management of contractual rights and obligations, compiles and analyzes data, and maintains historical informationFacilitates proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA or customer as required via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressureBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant professional contracts experience ; OR Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant professional contracts experienceWill consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degreeKnowledge of FAR/DFARS requirementsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Active security clearance at the time of applicationExperience negotiating and administering various contract types, specifically with the DoDWe offer flexible work arrangements to include a 9/80 Hybrid work schedule, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do.Primary Level Salary Range: $77,000.00 - $115,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
