This position is located in Roy, Utah.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You'll Get To Do:The selected candidate will be working for the Strategic Deterrent Systems Flight Systems Futures organization. We focus on Hypersonic re-entry and advanced payloads. This specific role will be focused on trajectory analysis and generation for our hypersonic systems to support test, development, and analysis.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with a minimum 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master’s; or 1 years with a PhD.Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 yearsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need​Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis experience of Aerospace Vehicles; to include hypersonic platformsExperience with generation of 6-DoF trajectories for hypersonic platformsExperience with trajectory analysis for boost phase ascentDemonstrated history of analysis and visualization of dataProgramming experience with one of the following: C++, MATLAB, python, FortranExperience using Git for version controlExcellent technical writing skillsExcellent communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scopeProficiency with C++, MATLAB, and pythonExperience using TAOS to model trajectories Experience using AFSIM for mission level simulationsExperience using STK for red/blue modellingPosition Benefits: As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401k Educational Assistance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions Paid Time Off Health & Wellness Resources Employee Discounts https://www.northropgrumman.com/who-we-are/total-rewards-benefits/This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.* This position is contingent upon contract awardPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
