This position will report to our El Segundo, CA office. This position will report to the Manager of Technical Accounting & SOX and will have the following responsibilities:Serve as ASC 842 Lease Accounting subject matter expert to review routine and non-routine lease transactionsResearch ASC 842 codification in support of non-routine lease transactionsPrepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting data and analysis in support of the company’s U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosure requirementsPrepare routine and non-routine journal entries in SAP and HFM.Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentationLiaise with auditors by providing requested PBC items and thoroughly responding to questions in support of the auditPrepare periodic filings and related schedules in support of the Sector’s state incentives agreementsSupport special projects on an ad hoc basisSupport the development of presentations for Division and Sector leadershipInterface and coordinate with business, program, and sector personnel to drive process changes and resolve Sector wide issues Basic Qualifications: Must have either a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline with 5 years of accounting, audit, and/or business management experience, or a Master's degree Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline with 3 years of accounting, audit, and/or business management experience or a PhD Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline with 1 years of accounting, audit, and/or business management experiencePublic Accounting experience (each year of relevant Public Accounting experience counts for 2 years of experience above)Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs Preferred Qualifications: CPA License/CPA Candidate in the near termExperience with SAP and/or HFMSEC reporting experienceExcellent knowledge of US GAAPActive DoD Secret clearancePrimary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
