Come be a part of our mission.Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Software Systems Integration Engineer - Level 5 based out of Aurora, CO.This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work. Job responsibilities: Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule, and cost constraintsDevelops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systemsCoordinates integrated testing activitiesReviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test programPerforms technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluationsBasic Qualifications:Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of applicationBachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; 8 years of relevant experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Experience with commercial off the shelf and custom software installationUnderstanding of, and experience in, investigating log files and software/infrastructure issuesAbility to create a lightweight configuration management processAbility to troubleshoot in a Linux environmentExperience with GIT LabMust have Sec+ certification or equivalent prior to startPreferred Qualifications:Experience with KubernetesExperience with command-and-control systems and softwareExperience integrating software and hardwarePrimary Level Salary Range: $161,000.00 - $241,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
