The preferred candidate will be responsible for developing, allocating, managing, and verifying system requirements. Performing functional analysis, trade studies, requirement allocation. Develop and maintain system architectures using MBSE, including Cameo/SysML. Translating customer requirements into detailed system specifications. Coordinating across software, hardware, specialty engineering and program IPTs. Supporting System Integration, verification and validation, and technical reviews.Basic Qualifications:Sr Principal Engineer Systems (Level 4): 8 years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with master’s or 3 years PHDProficiency in Requirements Engineering and MBSEExperience with Cameo or MagicDrawAbility to understand system interface documentation, interconnect diagrams, and military standardsExperience with Requirements Impact Assessments, Change Requests, and Engineering Change ProposalsActive Secret Security ClearancePreferred qualificationsIAMD/C2 experienceUnderstanding of weapons, sensors, distributed computing, and command-and-control architectureUnderstanding how those systems affect requirements and interfacesSystems engineering experience in Agile environmentsIntegrated Battle Command System (IBCS) /Link-16 experienceFamiliarity with PATRIOT, Sentinel, G/ATOR, or similar weapons sensor systemsPrimary Level Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
