These positions are located in Baltimore, MD.This individual will lead a cross-discipline engineering team typically greater than 10 people for a medium to high-risk project and interface with Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance. Roles & Responsibilities:Lead and direct cross-functional hardware engineering teams during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases of products in development and production phasesSupport proposal development and new program acquisition effortsInterpret statements of work assigned by program leadershipDevelop and execute project budgets and schedules, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), critical path management, Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), and workload forecastsInterface with functional departments to secure team staffingWork with suppliers and be able to articulate project requirementsBrief internal and customer leadership on progress of work assignedPerform in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings. This role is contingent upon candidates having a current/active Secret Clearance.This role is contingent upon Program Award.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM-related discipline with (12) years of related experience, or Master's Degree and (10) years of related experience.Must have a current/active Secret Clearance. Secret Clearance is required to start. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance for continued employment.4 years of Experience as Hardware Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills4 years of Engineering leadership experience in a team environment4 years of experience in the Hardware Design, Manufacturing or Test process4 years of experience with developing and executing project schedulesPreferred Qualifications: Experience in hardware development of complex RF or Digital systems and sub-systemsExperience with certification as a Control Account Manager (CAM) managing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) projectsThe selected candidates are expected to be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.Experienced in utilizing the Engineering Design Process for the planning and execution of projects.PMP certificationActive and current Top Secret government clearancePrimary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $253,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
