Join a collaborative team where your expertise contributes to meaningful work that supports Australia's national security.About the OpportunityBased in Fortitude Valley QLD or Symonston ACT with flexible hybrid working arrangements, as a Subcontracts Specialist you will lead sourcing and subcontract activities from strategy through to contract award and ongoing management. Working closely with program teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, you'll ensure commercial solutions deliver value, manage risk, and support successful program outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Developing and executing sourcing and subcontract strategies.Leading RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.Drafting, negotiating, and managing subcontracts and contract variations.Monitoring supplier performance and resolving commercial issues.Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Supporting Australian Industry Capability (AIC) initiatives.Driving continuous improvement across subcontracting processes and practices.About YouYou are a commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
